Since my last post on body things, I continued my regular 1-3 visits to the gym… for one week. Then disaster struck.
I was sick for over a week, and didn’t go to the gym.
I may have binged on way too many Tim Tam biscuits, too.
However! Today was a healthy-eating day and I did a light version of my workout at the gym. It felt great to be exercising again.
I’m debating whether to go to the gym again this week, or whether I should save my energy and my muscles for the hike on the weekend. I’ll see how I feel tomorrow, in terms of energy and muscle aches. Sometimes, when I go without exercise for a few days, I feel quite energetic, which would be helpful for this more-difficult-than-the-last-one hike.
I’ll post an update on the weekend, after the hike.
